Generalization i.e deducement

“I often wonder why the whole world is so prone to generalise. Generalisations are seldom if ever true and are usually utterly inaccurate.”- Agatha Christie, Murder at the Vicarage I had decided to be regular in my writing, but life happens and it's been months since my last post. I was struggling to think of what to write about as currently my mind is all over the place but then it hit me how we humans have this annoying habit of generalizing others and even things. I am guilty of doing this myself but despite not liking it, I have done it one too many times. [I don't own this image, I Googled it]   Some examples of generalisations that I can think of at the moment are: Cats are meaner than dogs. All IT people are hackers. Geeks/Nerds are not good at sports. Everyone is a cynic these days. People who smile the most are the happiest people,    etc. In my opinion (not that it matters, nor anyone asked), some generalisation may have some trut...

Smile and the world will smile with you

Looking back at my last post, it has been almost 3.5 years – can’t believe so much time has passed. Just like majority of the world population, I had disappeared in the robotic routine of this world that I forget why I started writing in the first place. This blog was my way of sharing my life’s journey with you – my fellow earthlings. Thinking maybe someone out there somewhere would find all my blabbering informative and life changing. I would still have been stuck in my routine and blog would have had real spider webs on it, had it not been for a special friend (let’s give her a cool nickname, White Dragon Lady). She, in your own way, pestered me about why I stopped writing, and it got me thinking, why indeed. We all strive for a better life… more money, more fame, more materialistic things that we lose sight of one of the more precious things in this world… being a good human being. “ Be a good human being, a warm hearted, affectionate person. That is my fundamental belie...

How to start off

I don't know about other people but the first thing I do whenever a new social website is launched, is to register myself so as to secure my username. The same happened with my blog, I registered here I don't know how many years ago but never got to actually sit and well blog. [I don 't own this illustration] And now that I finally have time (and the necessary patience) to write my blogs, I don't know what to write (is it just me or has anyone else faced the same dilemma?) So to start off, I'll just say this... if you love to share your thoughts with the world then you should definitely start a blog and speak your mind (that's exactly what I intend to do) and hope that your readers (if any) enjoy and share your thoughts as well as join in and contribute. Hope everyone out there is safe and living in peace!
