Generalization i.e deducement

“I often wonder why the whole world is so prone to generalise. Generalisations are seldom if ever true and are usually utterly inaccurate.”- Agatha Christie, Murder at the Vicarage I had decided to be regular in my writing, but life happens and it's been months since my last post. I was struggling to think of what to write about as currently my mind is all over the place but then it hit me how we humans have this annoying habit of generalizing others and even things. I am guilty of doing this myself but despite not liking it, I have done it one too many times. [I don't own this image, I Googled it]   Some examples of generalisations that I can think of at the moment are: Cats are meaner than dogs. All IT people are hackers. Geeks/Nerds are not good at sports. Everyone is a cynic these days. People who smile the most are the happiest people,    etc. In my opinion (not that it matters, nor anyone asked), some generalisation may have some trut...
