Grass is the same colour on the other side

It has been almost a year since I last shared my thoughts. A lot has happened in this year, and I would not change anything! I had reached my lowest point in the latter half of last year and I was second guessing my decision of coming to a new world, but as luck had it and like Les Brown said, I fell on my back and could only see the way up. That is when I decided to devote my time to constructive things like blogging, reading about the latest technology news by following Mashable, TechCrunch, CNET and local newspapers here. That is where I got my different ideas for my blogs (I know they are not that good but I'm not a professional writer).

"When life knocks you down, try to land on your back. Because if you can look up, you can get up. Let your reason get you back up." - Les Brown

When I did not have luck landing a proper career job i.e. Business Analyst job, many people told me to do a master's degree to utilize my time in the best way and that it would also help me with my job situation. When 2014 started, I reflected upon where my life was going, and it was going nowhere because of the bad job market. Then it happened that I, of all the people, enrolled for a master degree i.e. Master of Information Systems (MIS) from University of Melbourne. This is where my upward journey began. I met some wonderful and friendly people during my first semester which really boosted my morale and helped me transition into student life.

I was fortunate enough to get an opportunity immediately after I finished my first semester. So, my advice to everyone having a rough patch, don't lose hope and talk to someone. Talking really helps! You do not have to pour your heart out or disclose personal stuff that you may be uncomfortable  sharing - but just talk random irrelevant stuff - talk and see the difference for yourself.

Do NOT self-doubt yourself! That is the MOST unhealthiest thing you can do to yourself which is not illegal.... Self-doubt leads to other evils like depression which is known as 'the silent killer' and is far worse than drug or any other addictions. Because this eat you up from the inside while people may never realize its intensity.

If you want to fix your life, remember you are the only one who can bring positive change in your life. You cannot expect other people or a miracle to happen unless and until you want to bring change. You are in control of your life, and YOU can make it better by trying and never giving up.

I wish everyone a blessed and prosperous life!

P.S:
It felt good to write again :)
