One Last Push

I never liked people giving advises to others about situations they never were in themselves. So how could they possibly know what the other person would be going through? How can they tell them what to do or how to go about things? It's funny how everyone tries to a 'jack of all trades' yet in reality be good at almost nothing (I know I'm being all dramatic here, let me enjoy my moment of drama queen). Since I dislike posers (read the above paragraph for my meaning of this word), I don't plan to become one, ever! Okay back to my topic now, where was I (sipping my peppermint green tea)... Oh yes! There comes a time in everyone's life when they are faced with hardships... to them it seems as if the world around them has come to a stop, they aren't going anywhere or making any progress and despite all their attempts they can't achieve what they desire or be where they want to be... they feel like giving up! Business Analysis or not, that is the question

One question I would have appreciated anyone asking me 6 years ago while I was planning out my future, was "Why don't you become a Business Analyst?"   This would have saved me a lot of time trying out different things that didn't interest me as much. [I don't own this image ] So, what does a business analyst really do? That is a very good question (if you asked this). Well for starters, in my opinion, a business analyst is like a bridge between the businesspeople and the technical people... like an interpreter in lay man terms. If you are good in understanding the technical aspects of a project and present them in normal English using diagrams (like Flow-charts, wire-frames, GUI, Use Cases etc., sounds all professional don't it 😉 ) and can talk to different people without hesitation... then you too can become a good business analyst. There are different fields that you can choose to be a business analyst in like: Process modelling or Busi...

How It All Began

Imagine you are walking down the street you have thousand times already only to realize that you have never been here before... freaky isn't it! Well, you can say the same thing about how I became a Business Analyst. Since I was little, I wanted to become a famous game designer who had games like Tomb Raider, Thief, Assassin's Creed, Splinter Cell, Call of Duty, Halo, Modern Warfare and Max Payne... this is not possible in reality but you can't blame someone for dreaming big! So how did I end up being a Business Analyst instead of living my dream... well for starters I did my bachelor's in software engineering (4 years degree) only to find out that to do masters in gaming designing, I needed a 4 years degree in gaming designing. Now who in their right frame of mind would want to study 4 more years to get another bachelor's degree, I surely wasn't going to. Anyways, since that didn't work out. My second dream was to become a world famous hacker (much...

How to start off

I don't know about other people but the first thing I do whenever a new social website is launched, is to register myself so as to secure my username. The same happened with my blog, I registered here I don't know how many years ago but never got to actually sit and well blog. [I don 't own this illustration] And now that I finally have time (and the necessary patience) to write my blogs, I don't know what to write (is it just me or has anyone else faced the same dilemma?) So to start off, I'll just say this... if you love to share your thoughts with the world then you should definitely start a blog and speak your mind (that's exactly what I intend to do) and hope that your readers (if any) enjoy and share your thoughts as well as join in and contribute. Hope everyone out there is safe and living in peace!
